How does the GreenLeach Filter stack up against other systems?

GLF: square feet per lineal foot of product

               GLF 12-62 17.6 “
               GLF 15-62 21.15  "
               GLF 18-62 24.8    "
               GLF 21-62 28.45  "
               GLF 24-62 32.0    "
               GLF 27-62 34.75  "
               GLF 30-62 38.3    "
               GLF 33-62 41.95  "
               GLF 36-62 45.7    "

The GLF excels in providing effluent contact area between the fabric/gravel product and the sand backfill on the sides and bottom. The GLF provides wetted contact area between the sand and filter fabric area as shown below:

(NOTE-THIS IS PHYSICAL CONTACT AREA BETWEEN EFFLUENT AND SURROUNDING SOIL ONLY)

Comparison with these three and many other leaching systems clearly show the advantages to using the GreenLeach Filter as a means to provide effective leaching area in a compact space. Do the math with any other system and you too will see how effective the GLF actually is.

The Infiltrator (trade mark) Equalizer (16” high x 34” wide) chamber provides about 6.0 square feet per lineal foot contact area (bottom and sides) with the soil when placed in a trench.

A standard 3-foot wide, 18’ deep gravel trench with 12” of gravel beneath the pipe provides about 5.0 square feet per lineal foot contact area with the soil.

A 48” wide, 12” high concrete gallery installed in a 6’ wide trench using 12” of gravel on the gallery sides provides about 7.5 square feet per lineal foot contact area with the soil.

Comparison with these three and many other leaching systems clearly show the advantages to using the GreenLeach Filter as a means to provide effective leaching area in a compact space. Do the math with any other system and you too will see how effective the GLF actually is.
